Linsey Food Shoot

I got a chance to work with Steven at Soda and Tonic a couple weeks back on a project for Linsey Food. The image will be featured on the box and marketing materiel for there new product.

Oh Canada

I shot a creative about two weeks ago with an amazing model from Elmer Oksana. The concept was inspired by my youth growing up in Canada, often my mother would take me shopping for spring clothing in February or March when the snow was still on the ground, and every once and I while I would try to wear my new spring clothing to school on a cold March day. The concept was to show clothing from upcoming Canadian spring lines, as a celebration of Canadian designers, and the coming spring.

It has been a long couple of weeks, I have been shooting a lot of product shoots most notably the Power 2010 Promotional Material. Above are some shots.

Wedding

So I shot a wedding a couple weeks back and I am just getting to the images now.

I don't shoot a lot of weddings, usually only do it if I know the couple or am a approached by a couple that has a good vibe.

I would like to give major respect to photographers who do shoot weddings as there main gig, it can be very hard.

Single in the city shoot

So last week I shot for a new dating site, Single in the city, the idea was to use shoes to represent different types of couples. It was a fun set, the Art Director was wonderful and I hope to work with him again soon. You can check out his agency at www.sodaandtonic.com they do great stuff!

This is an unedited raw shot from the shoot, it still needs a little bit of work but I am happy with the capture.

October Issue of Reno and Decor

This month my editorial in Reno and Decor came out, I was very lucky to get to shoot some amazing locations, like the show room of the Museum House show room and other amazing interiors designed by The Gracious Living Center. It printed a little dark which bothered me but it happens, and I guess you just roll with the punches. Any ways pick up an issue and check it out, they are free and can be found in many news stands.

Heading to Port Ryrse

It has been a good week, lots of little projects on the go and some big ones on the horizon. Heading to the in-laws for thanksgiving, hope everyone has a great long weekend. This image is from my wife's grandparents beach.

Hamish's Show

So yesterday, I shot with a wonderful new model Brianna from Next.

It was also the opening of a good friend and mentors show last night, it was a happy and sad night.

Hamish Kippen passed away last year, which was a great personal lose to both myself and all the other people he touched in his short but passionate life. He will be missed by many, both as a friend and a talented young photographer.
